My favorite laptops!! 1. Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i (2024, 2025 model is gonna come in July). Best value overall. Most functional laptop. can run a variety of programs. Remains cool to the touch with minimal fan noise. It has the amd strix halo processor (amd ryzen 9 ai max+ 395) which is the equivalent of apple's m4 pro chip. Its tablet form factor gives the laptop a good cooling system since the fans face up and they draw air from the back of the screen. It can have up to 128 gb of unified memory, with up to 96gb allocated to the gpu. This makes it suitable for locally training llms and ai models.
